About Fairmount Strings

For over thirty years, Fairmount Strings has been providing the highest quality live music for private events such as wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events and private parties, and for religious and memorial services. Fairmount Strings’ concertizing division – the Fairmount String Quartet and the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble - is known for its “rousing and warmhearted” (Phila.Inquirer) and "expert to the point of perfection" (Chestnut Hill Local) string quartet performances, inspiring educational programs and exciting collaborations with professional and student choirs and dance companies.

Members of the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble perform the Philadelphia premiere of Joel Thompson's "The Seven Last Words of the Unarmed" with the choir of the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields under the direction of Erik Meyer.

Pack a picnic and join us outdoors by the gazebo at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church as we perform selections from our new pop album "Spoken with Strings"

In case of rain, the performance will be moved indoors.
