About Fairmount Strings

For over thirty years, Fairmount Strings has been providing the highest quality live music for private events such as wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events and private parties, and for religious and memorial services.

Fairmount Strings’ concertizing division – the Fairmount String Quartet and the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble - is known for its “rousing and warmhearted” (Phila.Inquirer) and "expert to the point of perfection" (Chestnut Hill Local) string quartet performances, inspiring educational programs and exciting collaborations with professional and student choirs and dance companies.

The Fairmount String Quartet's debut album "Spoken with Strings" is available on all major streaming platforms.

The Fairmount Chamber Ensemble performs Mozart's "Requiem" and "Veni Sancte Spiritus" with the Drexel University Chorus under the direction of Dr. Steven Powell.

The Fairmount String Quartet will perform Haydn's String Quartet, Op. 51 "The Seven Last Words of Christ" as part of The Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields' Good Friday service.

Easter at All Saints’ in Princeton

The Fairmount Chamber Ensemble will join the choir of All Saints Church under the direction of Kevin O'Malia in an Easter celebration service. 

Works to be performed include Haydn's "Te Deum", selections from Vaughn Williams' "Mystical Songs", the Gloria from Gjeilo's "Sunrise Mass" and of course the "Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's "Messiah"!
